As for now the map is far from finished, but it probably never will be, so I decided to upload it. The texts are still drafts and there are still alot of sites missing (keeps, ruins, places of interest). Those will be added soon. Enjoy.
The small city is located at the foot of the immense rock where the fortress of the north, Castle Karneid guards the gulch to the Watles mountains and the pass leading to the realm of Farlangh. Karneid is despite its small size one of the power centres of Earlsdale, its lord holding the title of Duke of Vinshgau. In Karneid the Northern Alliance who repelled the Glurnser attack at the Ahnendorfer fields was founded.
Marbek is problably the best defended fortress in the entire realm. It lies in a small circular valley in midst of the Marbek Mountains and besides its formidable natural defenses, its gigantic city walls make the city impregnable. Marbek is a independent city state ruled by the Church of Kortis. Its paladins are famous throughout the dale and feared by Marbeks enemies. The city is also known for the quality weapons and armor, crafted from the sturdy metal of the mountains.
Home to the most famous fair in Earlsdale, Burgeis is the central market place in the kingdom. Often used as a rally point, Burgeis has large quantities of hire-swords and agents, ready for a clients hiring. Once a year the city attracts people from every corner of the dale and beyond to the Burgeis Fair, where the winner of the tourney wins the deepest respect throughout the kingdom.
